TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM IN BHUTAN

• The topography of Bhutan is dotted with undulating mountains & lesser hills & sloping valleys, which slim down the chances of laying down railway tracks throughout the kingdom.

• A highway channel in Bhutan connects the major destinations in Bhutan like Thimphu, Paro, Haa, Punakha, Jakar & Trashigang to the bordering town of Phuentsholing.
• Trashigang is also connected to the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Generally, tourists are offered a reserved system of transportation throughout their tour. We see to the safety and comfort of the passengers. However, public buses are spacious & comfortable too.
• There is just one international airport in Bhutan. The Paro International Airport is one of the highest airports in the world. Druk Air, Buddha Air & Bhutan Airlines are the national carrier airlines connecting Bhutan to Kolkata, Kathmandu, Delhi, Bagdogra, Jakar, Guwahati, Dhaka, Mumbai, Singapore & Bangkok.
