Daywise Tour Itinerary
Day 1 :Thimphu: Arrival and sightseeing
Upon your arrival in Bhutan, an agent’s representative will receive you at the Paro International Airport. Complete the immigration & custom formalities after which you will be transferred to your hotel in Thimphu. Register yourself at the reception and relax in your luxurious room to wash off the weariness.
Your tour itinerary for the day covers major attractions such as Buddha Point and the Bhutan Textile Museum.
Buddha Point: The Buddha Dordenma statue in Thimphu is among the most popular tourist attractions in Bhutan. Perched high in the Himalayas, the 51-m tall statue of Buddha is made of bronze and gold. This statue which was made in China and then cut into pieces and shipped to Bhutan, emits peace and happiness in the entire country.
Bhutan Textile Museum: The National Textile Museum was established in 2001 and is operated by the National Commission for Cultural Affairs. The museum was set up to promote Bhutan’s achievements in the field of textiles and to sustain traditional weavers and traditional textile patterns.
Come back to the hotel after a piping hot dinner for a good night’s rest.
Day 2 :Paro: Local sightseeing and transfer
Savor a delectable breakfast and proceed for local sightseeing in Thimphu. Visit Memorial Chorten and the National Library.
Memorial Chorten: This large Tibetan style gompa is among the most important religious structures in Bhutan. Built in 1974 as a memorial to King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, the chorten is a quaint edifice of world peace.
National Library: Your second stop for the day is the National Library of Bhutan. Built in 1967 to preserve and promote the rich culture of Bhutan, the library houses traditional texts and sacred religious books. Visit this architectural splendour and breathe in the smell of old books.
After a day of historic sightseeing, you will be transferred to Paro, the little town on the west of Thimphu. Enjoy a delicious dinner and head back to your hotel in Paro for a relaxed stay.
Day 3 :Paro: Mesmerizing Paro Taktsang tour
Relish a hearty breakfast on the penultimate day of your Bhutan tour package and proceed for your transfer to Tiger Nest.
Tiger Nest: The Paro Taktsang is a prominent Buddhist sacred site in the cliffside of the upper Paro valley. Founded in the 8th century as a meditation cave, this taktsang building consists of four main temples and residential shelters. Seek the blessings of the divine and familiarize yourself with the local culture of Bhutan.
Proceed to your hotel in Paro after a soulful day of sightseeing for a good night’s rest.
Day 4 :Departure
Gorge upon a delicious breakfast and complete the checkout formalities. Proceed for your transfer to the airport and catch flight back home.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
Your contract is with Bhutan Packages. A contract exists between us when we have confirmed you on our tour / hotel booking / or any other travel related services of your choice and we have received your booking request and deposits. All correspondence/s in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to Bhutan Packages.
Payments
For the services contracted, 40 % advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount should be paid before commencement of your tour. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services.
Payment Options
Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Cash payment to our office or by Demand Draft / Cheque. All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction. Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer.
Rights to amend the itinerary if required
Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalised. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.
Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure
In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:
Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Refund
In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.
